Tell us about your experience of our services

11. Feb 2021

Hafnarfjarðarbær constantly strives to improve its services, respond to queries from the public and make it easier to access municipal services via digital solutions. We all have our own experiences of municipal services – some good, some bad. Now we would like to gather these experiences and, with your valuable help, identify the strengths and weaknesses of the services we provide.

Tell us your story

Only together can we build a model society

With the Tell us your story initiative, Hafnarfjarðarbær staff hope to establish direct dialogue with users of municipal services and encourage those who come to us for services or with queries to tell us their story and submit suggestions for improvement. The initiative is inspired by Digital Iceland and aims to gather positive and negative experiences of the services we provide, in order to respond, identify strengths and weaknesses and resolve problems experienced by users. It is designed to help prioritise work processes and technical solutions that promote and ensure better services. In recent years, Hafnarfjarðarbær has focused heavily on introducing and implementing initiatives and measures aimed at improving its services, responding to queries from the public and making it easier to access municipal services via digital solutions. With your help, we hope to make our high-quality services even better.

Take part and make a difference!

  • Do you have a story to tell? We want to hear all your stories – good or bad. By gathering these experiences, we can identity the strengths and weaknesses of the services we provide in order to respond and improve.
  • Do you have a suggestion to make? We welcome all suggestions! Is there some environmental aspect or service that we need to fix? Are there any other suggestions you would like to make to Hafnarfjarðarbær's staff? If so, please send us your suggestions.
  • Do you have a good idea that you would like to present to a wider audience? If so, then Better Hafnarfjörður is for you. Better Hafnarfjörður is consultation forum where residents are given the opportunity to put forward their ideas – however large or small.

The Intercultural Council in Hafnarfjörður in collaboration with the Service and Development Department wants to hear from you and asks you to answer few questions.

At the end of the survey, participants are invited to take part in further reviews on Hafnarfjörður' s website and we encourage you to take part.

The Intercultural Council is composed of five representatives and one of its roles is to advise on the activities of the town of Hafnarfjörður in this area and contributes to strengthening social capital and promoting the services of municipal institutions to residents who are immigrants.

The survey it self is anonymous and can be answered in Icelandic, Polish and English
