Orange alert weather warning

Orange alert for weather is valid from 12-16 today. The alert changes to yellow from 16-19.

The decision to accompany a child from school or extracurricular activities, during poor weather conditions, is always at the discretion of the guardian. During orange weather warning it is even more important to accompany a child from school. Higher winds can be experienced in raised/hilly land areas. We recommend that children be accompanied in icy conditions with rain/snowfall.

Guardians should be aware that the weather may affect extracurricular activities and organized sports activities, at the end of the school day. Guardians may therefore be asked to pick their children up from these activities if the need arises.
